Watt Avenue Queue Jump & Right Turn Lane Project

Project Description

The proposed project will add an auxiliary right turn lane on Watt Avenue approaching the southeast corner of Fair Oaks Boulevard at Watt Avenue. The right turn lane will serve as a “queue jump” for the busses that use the corridor to allow for a more efficient transit route at this location.

Pedestrian facilities for the intersection will be upgraded to comply with the Sacramento County Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan. In addition, the four corners of the intersection will be landscaped to be consistent with the Watt Avenue corridor master plan.
