Freedom Park Drive, Pedestrian & Streetscape Project - 32nd to Watt Ave

Project Description

Freedom Park Drive project will provide pedestrian and streetscape improvements that include: Decorative street lamps and landscaping. Small public pedestrian plaza on the northwest corner of Watt Avenue and Freedom Park Drive that would include wide sidewalks. A decorative bus facility to improve transit use for community's existing and proposed development. Kiosk, benches, and an artistic monument for community identity in the Freedom Park Drive corridor.

  • Environmental Study, 2005 to 2006
  • Design, 2005 to 2006

  • Right Of Way Acquisition, 2005 to 2007
  • Construction, 2007 to 2009

Funding

The estimated total cost of the project is $1.5 million and will be provided by State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) and the Sacramento Housing Redevelopment Agency (SHRA).
